Most English practice starts by giving you something to learn.
A sentence to remember.
A dialogue to repeat.
A situation somebody else has invented.
And there's nothing necessarily wrong with that.
But what if you started somewhere different?
With something you already know.
Your own life.
You don't have to learn what happened to you yesterday.
You don't have to memorise your own opinions.
You don't have to invent a reason to care about your own experiences.
You already know those things.
And you already know how to talk about them in your native language.
So why not start there?
Tell us about something from your life, in your own words.
Hello Noodle helps you express that experience in English.
But here's the important part: at a level you can actually understand.
Because even a story about your own life can be overwhelming if the English is too difficult.
Too many unfamiliar words. Too much complicated grammar. Too much to take in at once.
That's why we've developed a level system specifically designed to prevent your English practice from becoming overwhelming.
Start at a level you feel comfortable with, and gradually increase the difficulty as your understanding grows.
If you're not ready to move up, there's no pressure. Keep practising at your current level until you feel more confident.
The challenge should grow with you. Not overwhelm you.
The English is new. The experience behind it isn't.
